  19. I'm very pleased with my Maxon-C++, which understands templates and
  20. exceptions and has a class library brought with it. I don't know why noone
  21. knows this compiler... 
  22. It comes in two versions:
  23. - Light (DM 190, ~$130) (Compiler, Editor, Help system)
  24. - Developer (DM 450.-, ~$300) (+Source Level Debugger, class library,
  25. assembler, online help developer tool)

  27. I'm using it for two years now, because it also runs on slower Amigas and
  28. even on a A500. A new version is coming up containing a new IDE

  42. There's also a new compiler on the market, the StormC++ by Haage&Partner.
  43. It has an improved GUI, also with Source level debugger, and many improved
  44. details, but no class library.

  59. Finally, GNU-C++ (although I've no experiences with it) is also considered
  60. to be good. But for the price of Ram (it takes 10 MB) you can buy one of
  61. the professional versions shown above.
